INTERNSHIPS

This is your chance to gain hands-on experience, work on impactful projects, and grow your career in the ag industry. The TriEst Ag Group Internship Program is designed to provide students and recent graduates with hands-on experience in the agricultural industry. Our goal is to nurture the next generation of professionals by offering them opportunities to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings, develop new skills, and gain valuable insights into the industry. The program offers interns a unique chance to work alongside experienced professionals, receive mentorship, and build a network within the industry. They will gain practical experience, enhance their resumes, and increase their employability in the competitive job market.
- Program Structure The internship program is structured to provide a balanced mix of learning and practical experience. Our interns will rotate through various departments, including Sales, Operations, Service, Finance, and Irrigation Design. There will be additional learning opportunities during the program. This will ensure interns gain a comprehensive understanding of our operations.
- Duration and Schedule The program runs for 10 weeks during the summer. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week. Some travel to other TriEst locations will be required.
- Eligibility Criteria Applicants must be currently enrolled in a relevant degree program or have recently graduated. A strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in agriculture are essential.
- Housing Interns who not live local to the Greenville, NC area will be provided housing. Interns will be required to sign and abide by a Code of Conduct Agreement.
- Compensation Interns will be paid an hourly rate. Additional allowances may be provided for travel and accommodation.
- Additional Benefits Interns will have access to company facilities, events, and professional development opportunities, including a career readiness seminar.
- Travel Interns will be responsible for travel to/from work at the Greenville, NC location. Travel outside this area will be provided by the Company.
Depending on your specialty and particular internship you’ll have the opportunity to visit customer farms in multiple grower segments, tour our facilities, and spend your time learning the ins and outs of working for one of the largest agricultural supply companies in the United States.

Recruitment Process

- Application Deadline The deadline for application packets is February 28th. Incomplete application packets will not be considered.
- Interview Process Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview via Webex, which may include a technical assessment and a behavioral interview.
- Selection Criteria Candidates will be evaluated based on their academic performance, relevant experience, interview, and alignment with our company values.
- Background Check and Physical Examination Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
